Today, Ambassador Georgi Panayotov and the team of the Embassy in Washington laid flowers at the monument of Vasil Levski, marking the 185th anniversary of the birth of the Apostle of Freedom.
Throughout the years, the legacy of the Apostle have retained its special place in our national memory as a source of pride and inspiration. The ideal of freedom and of a “pure and holy republic” form the immortal image of Vasil Levski that unites Bulgarians all over the world.
