On December 7th, 2018, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Washington and the Bulgarian-American Fulbright Commission for Educational Exchange celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Fulbright Program in Bulgaria. His Excellency Tihomir Stoytchev, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria, Ms. 
Susan Crystal, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Professional and Cultural Exchanges in the Department of State, and Ms. Angela Rodel, Executive Director of the Bulgarian-American Fulbright Commission, delivered welcoming address and remarks.
The 25th anniversary of the Fulbright Program in Bulgaria was celebrated with a piano concert performed by Ms. Pavlina Dokovska, Fulbright alumnus and professor at Mannes College of Music, The New School, New York.
