On October 3, 2025, the Bulgarian Music Society opened its 17th 2025-26 concert season with an inspiring evening at the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Washington, DC!
Ms. Stefka Yovcheva, Chargé d’Affaires noted that for 17 years, the doors of the Bulgarian Embassy have been open to young musicians from various countries, who have inspired us with their talent and the beauty of music.
Our guests had the pleasure of enjoying solo, vocal, and chamber performances of popular classical works by Schumann, Rachmaninoff, Fauré, Ravel, and others, performed by young laureates of international competitions representing six different countries.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all performers and especially to Dr. Ivo Kaltchev, Artistic Director of the Bulgarian Music Society, whose efforts have turned this wonderful initiative into a beautiful tradition.
